About Me

Zena Marchant is a facility manager at LaGuardia Gateway Partners, a private organization selected by former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to rebuild and manage LaGuardia International Airport's Terminal B. She has over eight years of experience working in management and as a specialist, with a focus on helping companies build sustainably to benefit the environment long-term. She has been endorsed by many current and former colleagues for her skills in the fields of environmental science, sustainability, data analysis, and community outreach.

Zena Marchant is a life-long New Yorker. She left the state to study meteorology at Penn State University for four years but later returned to earn a Master's Degree in Earth and Environmental Science from CUNY City College.

Marchant put a premium on ongoing learning and has earned various certifications from professional agencies throughout her career. She has an OSHA 40 Safety and Training certificate, an OSHA 30 construction certificate from the Florida Association of Safety Councils, and an OSHA 10 Construction certificate from the National Safety Council. She also has an NYS Mold Assessor License from the New York Department of Labor.

Additionally, Zena Marchant is currently studying for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification and a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate through New York University. PMP certification is recognized all around the world, and those who hold this certification are acknowledged as being experts who have both the experience and the training needed to handle many types of projects for different industries.
